Description
These are a beautiful, hardy, and prolific species. They do best on a few inches of substrate such as coconut husk, coco coir, or soil, as they enjoy burrowing. They'll congregate under hides like bark or egg crate, but don't tend to climb around too much and can't climb smooth surfaces.
Males have the iconic two bright spots on the pronotum, females have more abstract patterns.

Black Tiger Hissing Roach Nymphs 12ct (Gromphadorhina sp. "Black Tiger")
These hissers require the same care as standard G. portentosa, but this line has been bred to be extremely dark, almost jet black except between the plates. They also can get massive: my largest male is over 3" long! A heat source and access to protein-rich foods like dog, cat, or fish food will help grow a hefty BBC...big black cockroach, that is.
