Nauphoeta cinerea
Lobster Roaches are a great mid-size feeder insect that has a soft body and is super lively. They can climb and move quickly so a lid is a must, but as a prey insect, they are perfect.
Keep a few adults for breeding. Keep them between 75 and 80 Degrees and they will breed like crazy with or without substrate. Give them food (They Eat Anything) and some vegetables and fruit and they will provide healthy, active feeders forever.
We have been growing the same colony for 20 years!
